The new "healthier" version of devil's food cookies are inedible. Over time I tried two boxes and they actually make me not want a cookie. If anyone knows of a company making the original recipe cookie or at least a reasonable copy please post the name on this thread.

I have been a long time fan of snack wells devils food cookies. But when I looked for them lately I noticed they were different. The new recipe is ok but not even close to tasting as delicious as the old recipe. Furthermore, I cant find that type of devils food cookie anywhere! I will not buy these ever again unless they go back to the old recipe. Big mistake!!

The old Snackwell's devils food cookie was my favorite cookie and I didn't even care that it was fat free. It tasted amazing. This new version is not the same and I'm sorry I spent the money. The rest of the box is going in the trash. It went from the best cookie to the worst cookie. What happened? How can it be so bad?

Why Why Why would you do this to this iconic cookie that was so soft & dreamy and delicious the perfect balance of moist cakey cookie dipped in marshmallow and the perfect crispy shell. NOW it's just trash pure garbage. I am heartbroken as this was my go to overpriced cookie for years literally years........ BRING THEM BACK SNACKWELLS!

Bought these cookies for my son because they had been a favorite if his in the past. He was sooo disappointed and I dont blame him. No longer a cake but rather a dry cookie with too much marshmallow. Is the improvement less calories because it sure isnt the taste?.

Bought the new and improved devils food cookies.....pure trash. These are nothing like the originals. I know how companies are always value engineering their products, which is likely what they did here. Take a great, timeless product and ruin it all for the sake of profit margins. Think what you want snackwell, but you've killed the brand equity In the eyes of this consumer.

The "new and Improved" devil's food cookie is horrible! The coating is waxy and tasteless, the marshmallow is too much and the devil's food is dry and bland. The original was my favorite cookie ever. Not only is it not as good as the original, it is just a very bad cookie! I have bought my last box of snackwells.

The new and improved Snackwells devils food cookies are absolutely disgusting. The new cookie reminds me of a dry power bar. Its dense and heavy and weird. Nothing like the old light and cakey version. The coating seems closer to actual chocolate texture but tastes terrible. And the marshmallow is way too much. No one ever bought these because of the marshmallow. It was just a subtle bonus. Now, it reminds me of the marshmallow Santas that my mom put in our stockings but no one ever ate. The update ruined a childhood favorite. I wont buy these again unless they announce they went back to the original.

Fire whoever thought you should change the devils food cookies formula right now! This was a huuugggeee mistake! Go back now or you will go out of business! Get rid of the one who made this decision! According to your Facebook replies you dont seem to care what your consumers think at all but you WILL when it starts hitting your pockets and it will! I havent seen ONE good review about this new and improved (HA!!!!) formula.... EVERY one hates it! Does that mean NOTHING to you??? I literally havent seen ONE good review of your new formula! Who runs a business like this??? Good customer service does not exist anymore. Ive NEVER seen a time in my entire life where so many business were just like screw you, too bad so sad to their customers like I do today! But you all really take the cake with your apathetic replies on the Facebook negative posts! BRING THE OLD FORMULA BACK LIKE YESTERDAY!

Why did you change the recipe? The new ones are terrible. I usually buy them as a treat as they aren't that cheap. Won't buy them anymore. The last box I bought was old - probably because no one buys them anymore. YUK!!!!

I used to enjoy your Devils Food cookies but hadnt purchased any for awhile. Purchased a box again with your new recipe and I must say these were the worst cookies I have ever had. Whoever came up with this new and improved recipe needs to be fired! You just lost a customer.
